Six years old and what a flight!   Today marks the sixth birthday of T1 Tallinn. 🎈 💖 Since the opening in 2018, the center has gone through eventful and challenging times. When the new owner took the helm on the first day of 2022, many thought that we are facing a mission impossible. ⛰   ⭐ Almost three years and of €20 million capex later, we are delighted to see T1 making significant progress. The center has become an increasingly attractive destination for shopping, dining, leisure, entertainment, and last but not least – for sports and hobbies.   ⭐ The turnaround has been already a success, and we have no intention to rest on freshly obtained laurels, such as being the most distinctive (shopping) center in Tallinn for the second year in a row.   ⭐ Nothing happens without a team, which is not limited to the small and efficient office of T1’s operator company. Everyone working in the premises of T1, all cooperation partners contributing to everyday operations of the center deserve a huge Thank You! That’s what we said at T1’s 6th birthday party and the official opening of the T1 Venue, a spectacular newcomer in Tallinn’s event market, where the festivities were held.   As we see from thrilling air acrobatics by Steffi Pähn and Ingmar Jõela, performed at the 6th birthday, everything is possible.   #T1Tallinn #T1turnaround #futuremall #teamT1Tallinn #T1vibes   🎥 Liisa Kirss-Kerde

The end of the year may bring relief for the Estonian retail trade, which has seen many challenges in recent times. 🛒 For T1 Tallinn, already October was a very busy month with the highest number of visitors in more than five years. 📈   According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the retail trade volume continued to decrease in September, falling by 4% on an annual basis. We see that buyers are looking for discounted offers, and thanks to them, retail sales could recover closer to the end of the year.   ✔ Today, consumers are pickier and making less emotional purchases. Therefore, they come to outlet stores, to obtain a very high-quality product, at a more reasonable price.  ✔ The purchase of winter goods only begins to pick up when it gets colder in November and the first snow arrives – after the warm and long autumn in Estonia. ✔ Winter season will drive consumption across many categories, plus Black Friday promotions and Christmas sales are on the horizon. In the last months of the year, stores usually record the highest turnover of the year.   💪 The decisions and turnaround steps made in the T1 center in the last couple of years are paying off, as the outlets are functioning well and gaining new momentum. Stores that attract with good offers and at the same time high-quality goods are undoubtedly a growing market, and this in every economic cycle.   📺 Estonian ETV covered the retail trade developments on October 31, with a comment by Tarmo Hõbe, CEO of T1 https://lnkd.in/dUWm7fyh   #T1Tallinn #T1turnaround #futuremall #Tallinn #shoppingcenters #T1outlets

T1 Tallinn remains the most distinctive (shopping) center in Tallinn, according to a recent study by Kantar Emor. 👏 📈 In two years, spontaneous awareness of T1 has soared from 21% to 36%. T1 is the sixth most popular shopping center in Tallinn, and chasing the top five from a close distance. The study highlights that in the last couple of years it has been interesting to observe the progress of T1, which has gradually changed its concept, and in three years, T1's reputation has grown. “According to residents, T1 is the most distinctive shopping center in Tallinn”, said Anu Varblane, Research Expert at Kantar Emor. In the comments about T1, the respondents highlighted that: 🍲 🛒 there are new shops and eateries in the center 👉 📐 the access to T1 and the center’s design have improved 💃 🤺 there are more activities here than before - for example, one can engage in sports and hobbies. Visitors also expect that T1 will provide even more content and activities, so we keep working hard towards this goal! According to the survey, Ülemiste Center tops the ranking, followed by Citycon's Rocca al Mare and Kristiine centers, Tallinna Kaubamaja of TKM Grupp, Viru Keskus and T1. The survey was conducted online and by phone in August and September, and 1,253 residents of Tallinn and Harjumaa aged 15-74 responded to it. Many thanks to all partners who have supported us on our journey so far. 🤝 The turnaround continues!   📷 by Tõnu Tunnel #T1Tallinn #T1turnaround #futuremall #Tallinn #shoppingcenters

Brick and mortar news, literally, and at an advanced level. 🚧 Despite of young age of T1 Tallinn, the ongoing turnaround keeps the center a busy construction site. Either in common areas or rental spaces, in many parts of the building we see changes every month. 🤝 It can happen only with a professional partner, such as Tallinna Ehitustrust. Working with T1 since 2022, the company has been instrumental in refreshing the look and functions of the center.  👉 Last but not the least: Tallinna Ehitustrust has found their corporate home in T1. Their modern and bright office speaks for itself, as an example of modern office planning and meticulous construction. 🏗 #ehitustrust #t1 #t1turnaround #t1tallinn #futuremall #innovation Photos of common areas by Tõnu Tunnel, of office spaces by Tallinna Ehitustrust.
