Selgusid Pärnu innovatsioonifondi võitjad ✨ Pärnu linn koostöös Tehnopoliga viis juba teist aastat ellu innovatsioonikonkurssi, mille eesmärgiks on toetada tarkade lahenduste jõudmist Pärnu linnakeskkonda. Konkursile laekus 24 ideed.

Lisaks said nad oma AI-lahenduse väljatöötamiseks 20 000 eurot toetust. PÖFFi arenduspartneriks Susi AI loomisel on tarkvara ettevõte Acty Commerce. Pimedate Ööde filmifestival toimub 8.–24. novembrini. Mine kinno, aga enne suhtle Susiga!

🎉 A big win for Estonia and public health around the world! 🌍 We’re thrilled to announce that our very own Merilin Varsamaa has been selected as the sole expert from Estonia to join the World Health Organization's (WHO) Public Health Innovation Advisory Group! Merilin will be part of a team of 15 top specialists from across the globe, working together to address some of the most pressing health challenges in the WHO European region. The WHO European Region faces complex health challenges: from the global spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19 and influenza to chronic illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, as well as rising mental health issues. These challenges are worsened by an aging population and unequal access to healthcare. Yet, the region holds immense untapped potential. Merilin sees this as a unique opportunity to champion Estonia’s innovative ecosystem on a global stage: “Public health innovation directly impacts well-being, extending healthy life years and contributing to economic growth. I’m honoured to bring Estonia’s perspective to the table and support the development of world-changing technologies. By applying WHO’s ‘Health in All Policies’ strategy, we can ensure that health considerations are integrated into all sectors.” For Estonia, this role is also a gateway to ensuring that our innovative solutions contribute to addressing global health problems. 🇪🇪 The first advisory board meeting will take place on November 28, kicking off a two-year journey toward shaping sustainable innovation ecosystems that cater to the evolving health needs of populations across Europe. Congratulations, Merilin! 👏 We can’t wait to see the impact of your work in advancing public health innovation. #TehnopolHealthTech #WHO #PublicHealthInnovation #HealthInnovation
