💡 At Verston, we implement LEAN management*. Indrek Trei, the Project Manager of Rail Baltica Raplamaa Main Route Phase I construction works, shares his experience: 💬 "LEAN management has provided the team with a detailed overview of what is being done and where at any given moment. On a daily basis, it is possible to visually see the entire process. People involved with the project, even those not present on-site daily, can get an overview in just a moment. LEAN management has increased efficiency and eliminates resource overlap. It also ensures a continuous workflow for resources." *LEAN management is a methodology focused on creating value for customers while reducing waste and optimizing resource usage. Its goal is continuous improvement of processes and increasing efficiency throughout the organization.

🚧 In October, Verston's workplace environment representatives gathered at the Tallinn office to discuss work safety and employee well-being. 🚧 These representatives are volunteers, elected by their colleagues, who invest time and energy to ensure everyone’s well-being is safeguarded. Their role is mandated by law and plays a vital part in fostering a secure working environment across the company. We are constantly striving to provide the best conditions for all Verston employees—whether through the latest safety measures, improved working conditions, or initiatives that support overall wellness. 💪 A heartfelt thank you to our workplace environment representatives for dedicating their efforts and expertise to ensuring we all feel safe and appreciated at work!

🍀 As we transition to a new brand, we are adhering to sustainability principles. Therefore, we are not rushing to replace all logos at once, but instead doing it gradually and based on need. If you still see Verston's old logo on our machines, employees' clothing, or other physical surfaces, please know that we value and appreciate what has been before – we are respectfully and gradually retiring the old. 💚

The various discourses and presentations at Impact Day held in Tallinn last week left us with some indelible reflections. Over the next few days, we're excited to share these reflections summarized by our co-CEO, Jüri Tamm - who was also a panelist at one of the discussions, along with Vitalija Impolevičienė, Peep Pitk, and Ariane Coulombe. It was evident from the discussions that since infrastructure alone accounts for approx 37% of world's CO2 emissions, it is imperative that the infrastructure sector takes the lead in both reducing the emissions as well as spreading awareness about it. There is already growing awareness around what solutions are needed and how to construct and maintain infrastructure sustainably. It is now time to IMPLEMENT and ACT. Time to IMPACT. Join us as we take charge and head towards a CO2-less world 🌍

Happy to share! The largest wind farm in the Baltics, Sopi-Tootsi wind farm is complete! ✅ Verston was responsible for designing and constructing vital infrastructure for this project. The mission involved building 30 km of roads and 38 wind turbine bases using greener solutions, also improving land reclamation systems across 1,600 hectares. Commissioned by Enefit Green, we built the wind farm in collaboration with NOBE and Connecto. A big round of applause goes to our project team led by project manager Andre Mägi. 👏
Watch the video – Construction of the most powerful wind farm in the Baltics, Sopi-Tootsi, is complete! The wind farm, commissioned by Enefit Green, now has 38 turbines, generating over 8% of Estonia’s annual electricity consumption. 💨⚡️ NOBE was responsible for construction management and the concrete works for the turbine foundations at this renewable energy site located in Northern Pärnumaa. 🏗️ A big thank you to our partners Verston Eesti and Connecto Eesti, and to our client Enefit Green – together, we have taken another significant step toward advancing renewable energy in Estonia. 🌍🌱 #NOBEbuilds #constructionandconcretesmartly #building #buildingconstruction

🚀 Join us as we turn a new page in Verston’s story! This new chapter is dedicated to people and the planet, because Verston is something far greater than a mere physical road-maker. What we do can change the world way beyond just the roads we construct or maintain. And in the future ever more so, as our areas of operations expand. 🚀 We construct infrastructure that connects and empowers communities, enhancing life and maintaining our planet for future generations. We do this through excellence in technology and innovation; through intelligence, efficiency and precision. But as always, any change starts from the people, from the heart. Verston is a company of diverse, but like-minded changemakers, striving to have a positive impact on the planet — both as a company, and as individuals. This shared ambition and optimism is what defines us. Because... Surely we can find better ways, better solutions, to build our shared future? Together with communities, customers and partners who share the same will. 💚 Therefore, it’s our people who deserve the spotlight. Their know-how, their dreams, their ambitions. Their stories. At Verston we all are not only pathfinders, but pathmakers — of a smarter, more sustainable future. That’s what we want to do; that’s what we know we can do. And that’s exactly what we will do. Where there's Verston, there's a way!

At the end of September, Verston team installed amphibian barriers in the floodplain area of the Keila River. 🐸 We helped frogs move safely and relocated them from within the restricted area. The special frog barriers constructed for the Rail Baltic Estonia main route section Rapla II will help protect amphibians on their migration routes in the future. 🌿
