The EUG team had the honor of meeting H.E. Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, along with senior executives from the EGPC Group and SLB, at the Ministry of Petroleum premises on October 10. Eng. Karim Badawi emphasized that “The mission of EUG goes beyond data bank it represents the upstream business platforms that will help attracting new investments. He also stressed the importance of fully leveraging advanced technologies and AI tools to unlock new opportunities and enhance decision-making processes. Additionally, he noted that EUG could play a significant role in the future by unlocking the potential of other energy sources, such as geothermal.” Moreover, a presentation by Mohamed Radwan, EUG Project Manager - MOP, and Claudio Leone, EUG Project Manager - SLB. They outlined the key milestones of the project, highlighted ongoing activities, and discussed the way forward. The EUG team would like to express its deep gratitude to the Minister for his continued support and leadership. His unwavering encouragement since the project's inception has been pivotal to its success.
