With EUROCERT’s seal of approval, Athens International Airport’s (AIA) environmental performance is validated EUROCERT, a Greek certification and inspection body with 26 years of experience in conducting audits across more than 40 countries worldwide, has successfully completed the audit of Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” S.A. (AIA) for waste reduction practices according to the Zero Waste to Landfill Standard "ZWTL-EU1." As part of its comprehensive environmental policy measures, Athens International Airport was certified for the entirety of its airport facilities in accordance with the Zero Waste to Landfill Standard “ZWTL-EU1.” Through the certification process by EUROCERT, it was verified that 88.15% of waste produced by the Airport Community in the reference year 2023 was directed towards further utilization—such as reuse, recycling, composting, and energy recovery—rather than landfill, thereby achieving the GREEN grade of the Zero Waste to Landfill Standard. The successful completion of the inspection is accompanied by the issuance of a Verification Report and a Declaration of Compliance in accordance with the Zero Waste to Landfill Standard “ZWTL-EU1” requirements. It should be noted that EUROCERT has successfully certified AIA according to the Environmental Management Standards ISO 14001, Energy Management ISO 50001, and serves as the current verification body under the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) Scheme. #Eurocert #ZeroWastetoLandfill #certification #enviromentalcertification

Alhamdullah 🙏❤️🎉 Finaly MICC factory is certified now with FSSC22000 V6. This the third and last factory in abu auf group to be FSSC certified, we spent three years trying to build up food safety and quality system from scratch and now we are celebrating the certification. Starting from creating food safety culture and procedures and maintaining the infrastructure that was a big challenge to us and now we are proud to have a full FSMS. Our journey was full of ups and down , huge resistance to keep up our efforts and success. however we were paying a lot efforts and finally the efforts crowned by success. Three years ago, we set ourselves an ambitious and challenging goal: to elevate our standards of quality and food safety and achieve the FSSC certification. The journey was long and filled with challenges, but every step we took brought us closer to this incredible accomplishment. We began with a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of our operations, crafting a thorough development plan. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and collaboration demonstrated by every member of our team. From production and quality to maintenance and management, everyone was committed to making the envisioned change a reality.
