The Bond of Matrimony is a ring that both you and your spouse will receive from Maramal after your marriage ceremony is complete. In appearance, this ring is identical to a gold ring. Its enchantment fortifies your Restoration skill by 10 points, decreasing the magicka cost of all Restoration spells.

Bugs

• The Bond of Matrimony can be disenchanted, and the Blessing of Mara enchantment learned, but it cannot be applied to any items during enchanting, making the resulting XP gain from disenchanting the only benefit for doing so.
  • The Unofficial Skyrim Patch, version 1.0, addresses this issue. The item can no longer be disenchanted.
