Katie Pearson is director of policy for Adamantine. She translates sustainability aspirations into action for clients by guiding ESG, decarbonization, and stakeholder navigation strategies. She brings a robust knowledge of energy policy and climate-related pressures facing the energy industry.
Katie has over two decades of experience in commercial/business development and technical roles across oil & gas in upstream, downstream, technology, and decarbonization/new energies as well as in renewable power. Most recently, Katie was vice president, head of partnerships & transactions for RWE’s US Offshore Wind business, leading the team that sources and executes partnerships and portfolio opportunities.
Previously, Katie served as a commercial manager, business development origination for Chevron’s New Energies business, focused on partnerships and deals in carbon offsets and novel renewable power. In a prior role, she managed the origination of renewable energy projects to power Chevron’s operations, including a 20 MW solar development adjacent to Chevron’s New Mexico Permian Basin oil & gas production. She began her 21-year long tenure at Chevron as a process engineer in the refining business. Katie has a BS in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University and MS in energy policy and climate from Johns Hopkins University.
