Unleash your creativity during a weeklong fashion workshop inspired by The Met Costume Institute exhibition Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion. In the studio, you will:
- Design, sketch, and learn basic sewing skills to bring your designs to life
- Create your own fashion pieces
- Connect with other teens, teaching artists, and curators
- Present your looks in a fashion show during Teen Fridays on Friday, August 2, 4:30–6:30 pm
Free, though applications are required. Apply by Sunday, June 16, 2024. Notifications will be sent by Friday, June 21, 2024. You must be able to attend all five dates. Museum admission is free for teens as part of this program. All experience levels welcome; all materials are provided.
