While you might live and breathe your deadlines, your stakeholders often do not. And yes, I know the deadlines were in the emails, on the website, and mentioned on the calls. But, as we all know, that doesn't necessarily mean that the emails were read, the website was consulted, or attention was given in the calls. Here's my two step, bulletproof solution to ensure your stakeholders not only understand the importance of the deadlines, but actually get you their deliverables in time: 1. Give them a false deadline that gives you a few days of wiggle room. 2. Individually contact your stakeholders on an increasingly regular basis to follow up on their deliverables as the deadline approaches. A little hand holding can go a long way!

As the event date gets closer, it's crucial to have regular check-ins to make sure everyone is on track with their deadlines. This is the time when things can easily fall through the cracks if you’re not actively reaching out to stakeholders. By keeping the lines of communication open and making sure everyone knows their responsibilities, you can catch potential issues early and keep everything running smoothly. These check-ins are about more than just meeting deadlines—they’re about ensuring that every detail is managed and nothing is left to chance.

To ensure all stakeholders understand the significance of timelines as your event approaches, clearly communicate the key milestones and deadlines in a detailed schedule. Regularly update stakeholders on progress and any changes, highlighting the impact of meeting or missing deadlines on the event's success. Use collaborative tools to provide real-time access to the timeline and encourage proactive feedback and coordination. By maintaining transparency and emphasizing the importance of each deadline, you can foster a shared commitment to timely execution.

With the event approaching, keeping everyone on track is vital. Emphasize the importance of timelines by setting clear deadlines and using task-tracking tools. Regular check-ins and updates ensure everyone stays aligned and understands the impact of delays on the overall event
