You're juggling conflicting stakeholder demands. How do you prioritize adapting algorithms effectively?
When stakeholder demands clash, adapting algorithms needs a structured approach. Employ these strategies to find balance:
- Communicate transparently: Keep stakeholders informed about constraints and how priorities are set.
- Iterate quickly: Implement changes in small steps to adapt swiftly and incorporate feedback.

Customer demands change and it is important to keep adapting to it. But this does not means that we should promote customer to keep changing their demands. First have a thorough agreement of what the basic issue is and the customers expectation with it and also know the boundaries of the algorithm, the scenarios that are valid and once which are invalid. Design your algorithm with this points keeping into the mind. Now communicate with customer the constraints of the algorithm and get into an agreement because this governs the extent the algorithm is designed for. Any change within this boundary should be welcome and encouraged by customer and anything that goes beyond this should be communicated and agreed upon by customer.

Try to identify long term vision with changing demands. Make your algorithms open for additions and closed for modifications to the changing demands to reap long term benefits.
