Firstly, what is the aim and objective of the subject matter and how does ot align with the student's ultimate goal to pass that subject. This is why you need to share this vision with the student and help them in areas they might be struggling in order to meet not just your expectations but their as well which is to be an excellent student. So inspire, encourage and coach so that each student has the opportunity to grow, develop and thrive beyond the classroom.
