One of the presentations I gave at ESLHO this week. It was good to work with 300K Solutions to evaluate their product as reference material for NGS workflows such as the Univ8 Genomics EuroClonality-NDC assay.

🔬 EuroClonality-NDC Assay by #Univ8Genomics in combination with 300K for Precission NGS Diagnostics 🔬 Recent classifications by the International Consensus on Mature Lymphoid Neoplasms and the World Health Organization 5th edition highlight the critical role of genomics in classifying and predicting outcomes in lymphoproliferative disorders (LPDs). This shift urges laboratories to implement multi-gene testing methods, like Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), to analyze various genomic factors simultaneously. However, there’s a shortage of reference materials (RM) with known LPD-specific genomic alterations for monitoring these molecular tests' performance. Effective RM must be stable, reproducible, accessible, and workflow-compatible. To meet this need, 300K has developed a unique technology allowing lyophilized LPD cell lines, extensively characterized, to be stored at room temperature for NGS use. Peter Stewart from the Queen's University Belfast and #PrecissionMedicineCentreofExcellence presented at the 13th ESLHO Symposium held In Lisbon the results of a study using 300K technology to stabilize LPD cell lines as positive controls in combination with #Univ8Genomic EuroClonality-NDC Assay.
