Medical assistance for passengers in ports of call 🛳 🚢 After almost 15 years providing medical assistance for crew on cruise ships, AP Companies Global Health Management. Since 1997 is extending its services to provide medical appointments for passengers in ports of call too. The new service has been developed in response to increasing demand from cruise lines who are welcoming a growing number of passengers aged over 80, who may need rapid access to quality medical care. Although cruise ships have their own doctors and nurses, sometimes crew and passengers present with health problems that cannot be resolved onboard, so they must access care in ports or at a nearby medical facility. AP Companies has a comprehensive network of medical specialists who can promptly and efficiently provide quality care at reasonable rates. We can accompany the patient until they are discharged to return to the ship, or if necessary, we can repatriate crew and passengers to their own country for more comprehensive medical care. Since 1997 announced its Half Year Results on Thursday 5 August 2024 AP Companies business continues to perform strongly, with high overall organic revenue growth, contributed by growth in all AP divisions. Operating costs are well managed and additional economies of scales are achieved by combining services for the same lines of business and implementation of AI components into the operating and customer service processes. We are progressing well with the build-up for the new contracts in USA, Asia, Middle East and Europe, as well as expanded the range of services with our long term Clients. AP operating profit margin reached 12.6%, 40 basis points higher compared with the first half- year margin of last year. This margin improvement came in all divisions and from a combination of organic growth and collaborative projects. For the full year, we expect AP Group to deliver another strong result with stable revenue growth and the margin to increase to around 15%.
