Connecting the Global Architectural Community with US firms since 2015

Sobre nosotros

Conceived as a liaison between rising global architectural talents and U.S.-based firms, Architect-US sponsors highly qualified international architectural talents to gain professional experience (professional training or paid internships) in the U.S. as part of the U.S. Government J1 Exchange Visitor Program. Architect-US is a free virtual service to employers. Host companies pay no enrolment fee, visa sponsorship, insurance or paper work to participate in the program. Employers only have to provide a compensated structured and guided on-site internship/training to internationals for the length of the program (3-18 months). The program offers US firms a valuable opportunity to access to top-notch young professionals who hail from Europe, South America, Asia and the Middle East that are eager to learn from American techniques and methodologies and to promote diversity inclusion, bringing a fresh/global perspective to their workplace and strengthening ties with designers in emerging and established markets. Taking the decision to host an International Architect Intern/Trainee will create a truly memorable, life-changing cultural exchange for everyone involved. We offer you the talent, you design the world!

Daniele is back! Did you look forward to the next step in his journey? ✨ • Our CEO Pati Garcia connected with former Architect-US J1 Visa Participant Daniele Lo Presti for a new valuable interview in the series. Daniele is a former J1 Visa Program participant, and he's had a lot of interviews with companies in the United States. • Here we are again with details about Daniele's journey finding a job in the US, this is now part 4, and honestly, we can't get enough! 👀 His experience is so interesting, having decided to actually travel to the United States, by himself, without a job lined up for him. That's ambition and determination right there, and we couldn't be more proud. 🥹 • In this part, Daniele touches on the second most important step in the planning involved when deciding to take such a risky step as to go to the US to apply for jobs with a 30 days deadline - the time and effort involved, the money, it could all have been for nothing...thankfully, the story has a happy ending! • Learn about the second step of taking such a leap of faith - make a list of all of the job openings you are interested in! This, of course, takes a lot of research, but is necessary. If you just go knocking on doors randomly, you just waste the company's time, and most importantly in this case, your own. When you have a deadline, you need to make sure you have a clear plan of execution! • Leave a comment below if you have any questions for Daniele, and we'll be sure to pass them along!! 👇👇👇 • 📌 Watch Daniele Lo Presti's full chat and find more young architects inspiring interviews on our YouTube Channel at the link below!!! • [ Link in the first comment below! ] •  #architect_us #usavisa #j1visa #usajobs #interviewseries

As promised, here is part 2 of Daniele's journey finding a job in the LA on his own! As a surprise, you can also learn about Pati's experience getting a position in NY. Cool, right? 😉 We are here to provide!! • Our CEO Pati Garcia connected with former Architect-US J1 Visa Participant Daniele Lo Presti for a new valuable interview in the series! • As promised, here we are with part 2 of Daniele's journey finding a job in LA on his own before reaching out to Architect-US for his J1 Visa! So exciting! As a bonus, you can also learn about Pati's own experience getting a position in New York, all by herself, back in 2010. Since it was still the recession in Spain, it was even more difficult, but doable as long as you try your best. And that she did! 🤩 • If you are in the middle of applying for jobs on your own, and are only getting few replies from companies, worry not! Unfortunately, that is completely normal. Pati received only 1 response per 100 emails sent. That sounds insane, don't you think? But, she never gave up, and neither should you. • Her experience is actually what inspired Pati to create Architect-US. She wanted to help young architects like herself reach their dreams more easily, and give them a slight advantage. Something she lacked before. So, out of all her struggles, something amazing was born! If you have a difficult time finding a job in the US, feel free to reach out, we are here to help you!! 🥰 • Stay tuned for part 3!! Leave a comment below telling us about your experience applying for jobs in the US, we are super curious to learn about it!! 👀 • 📌 Watch Daniele's full chat and find more young architects inspiring interviews on our YouTube Channel at the link below!!! • [ Link in the first comment below! ] • #architect_us #usavisa #j1visa #usajobs #interviewseries
