😊 On Day 2 of the #EARTHONE kick-off, we discussed the final, but no less important, work packages: • Mihalis Vrekoussis presented the WP5, led by University of Bremen, which focuses on climate change by studying the effects of land use on local climates. Through modified climate models, it aims to predict how land cover changes and climate extremes will influence ecosystems. • Giovanni Quaranta introduced WP6, driven by FONDAZIONE MEDES, which ensures that EARTHONE’s results are impactful and actionable. This work package focuses on evaluating the project’s outcomes, communication and dissemination, as well as exploitation and engaging stakeholders to drive meaningful change. Now we’re ready to make a lasting impact on the environment! #ClimateAction #Sustainability

How does working in a #HorizonEurope project look like? 🇪🇺 👩💻 🌍 Having a consortium made of 11 research and industrial partners from 6 European countries, most of our meetings and workshops are online, even if we travel frequently to events and to our own #GRAPHERGIAproject meetings. 📊 Yesterday, our partners gathered for our second #GRAPHERGIA exploitation workshop, led by our colleague Antonis Sapountzis, Project Manager at AUSTRALO. Our main objective was to keep defining our Key Exploitable Results, or KERs, especially in the sectors of batteries for aerospace structures and space applications as well as smart textiles. 🚀 Even if our main project activities are based on research and innovation with #graphene to create sustainable #energy harvesting and storage devices, we also think about the stakeholders, the market sectors and the business opportunities. ⚡️ Discover more about our #GrapheneRevolution at graphergia.eu! #GrapheneEU #SustainableFuture
