Congratulations to Eduardo Lovo, MD, neurosurgeon and Vice President at Grupo Centro Internacional de Cáncer in El Salvador, and his team on the successful treatment of a tremor patient using Brainlab Elements enrichment tools. This was the first tremor patient treated in El Salvador using these Brainlab solutions! Brainlab Elements allows clinicians treating functional targets to benefit from: • Unique elastic co-registration to correct patient-specific distortions in DTI sequences • Accurate segmentation of the basal ganglia region with patient-specific anatomical mapping •Tractography-based verification of atlas-generated structures for individual patient target confirmation • Verification of congruency of all methods using AC-PC coordinates Utilizing each of these tools supports accurate individual target confirmation and boosts confidence in functional treatments According to Dr. Lovo, "by combining Brainlab Elements enrichment tools with Gamma Knife radiosurgery, we not only increase treatment accuracy, but we can also treat more patients more effectively and safely.“ Click here to learn more about planning for functional indications with Brainlab Elements: https://lnkd.in/eHkx8HYh #medtech #radonc #oncology #radiosurgery

🤖AI meets 🎶music! We would like to extend a big thank you to the Munich Philharmonic, the students from Hochschule für Musik und Theater München and Moritz Eggert´s composition class as well as to Ali Nikrang and Hanni Liang for the amazing performance at our Brainlab HQ last weekend.✨ Over the course of two nights, our HQ Atrium was transformed into a stage that was filled with music made in a completely new and innovative way. Composers and AI experts Ali Nikrang and Hanni Liang brought together music and science and showed us what a concert of the future might sound like. 🎻 The introduction of generative AI into music opens up new artistic possibilities, with the collaboration between humans and AI at the forefront. The concert <CONTINUE.MUSIC> showcases this cooperation through pieces featuring the AI "Ricercar," developed by Ali Nikrang and Hanni Liang, to explore new approaches to collaboration in experimental music. It was an incredible experience and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! Stay tuned for upcoming concerts and learn more about our culture program at Brainlab here: https://lnkd.in/ehVxagYd #WeAreBrainlab #Culture #Art #BrainlabCultureProgram Images: © Brainlab and Oliver Bodmer
