🌍Today, China Three Gorges (Europe) S.A held its first Corporate Culture Online Seminar, bringing together over 70 team members to discuss our social responsibility and environmental initiatives across Europe. Key topics included the "Open Playground" project in Spain, China Three Gorges Scholarship, and community support initiatives in Germany and Greece. Our QHSE Manager, Rodrigo Sanchez Rodicio, also shared updates on renewable energy efforts and biodiversity protection. Additionally, our Communication Manager Wanyi Zhao introduced the Three Gorges Dam, as well as the world's largest clean-energy corridor along the Yangtze River, giving employees a more direct understanding of our company’s origins and background. This Tuesday, our Hydrogen Energy Engineer Blanca Zaragoza Rodríguez-Patón, was invited to the 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚 “𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚” 𝐌𝐮𝐣𝐞𝐫 𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐫í𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, organized by the Real Academia de Ingeniería 🎉 As one of the many beneficiaries of this program, Blanca shared: "This has been an incredibly meaningful career development program. It has empowered me to speak up in this industry without fear and helped me overcome the hesitation that comes from fearing mistakes. This event not only honors cultural heritage but also serves as a powerful symbol of environmental sustainability. By practicing this ancient method of moving livestock, we can significantly reduce carbon footprints and harmful emissions. The sheep play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. At China Three Gorges (Europe) S.A, we wholeheartedly embrace this nature-centered approach to sustainability. In fact, at several of our PV stations, we are implementing similar practices—grazing sheep on-site to enhance environmental management. 🐑💨 By collaborating with local shepherds, we use sheep to naturally control weed growth around our solar panels, eliminating the need for herbicides. This initiative not only promotes local animal husbandry but also reduces maintenance costs and minimizes our environmental impact. The sheep act as guardians of the environment, serving as our "green partners" in our commitment to a sustainable future. Today China Three Gorges (Europe) S.A was honored to participate in a cultural exchange forum hosted by Vocento. Under the theme “𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞” the event aimed to strengthen cooperation between China and Spain across cultural, economic, and social fields. Looking ahead, CTGE plans to deepen its engagement in the Spanish market, with green development as a core objective, and support Spain's energy transition.
