  • Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2025 EV outlook webinar. Our experts examined the electric vehicle market and uncovered key insights into the total cost of ownership (TCO) for battery-electric vehicles (BEVs). 💡🚗 Missed the webinar? You can catch up on all the valuable information by viewing the recording here: ➡️ https://ow.ly/ej6850VgFiW Here are some highlights: 📉 Depreciation is typically the largest cost factor in TCO for new cars. 🔧 Service and maintenance costs usually account for less than 10% of the total TCO. 📊 High list prices and low residual values contribute to significant depreciation for BEVs. Understanding these factors is essential for making informed decisions in the evolving EV landscape. Our TCO benchmarking tool, Car Cost Expert, is designed to support your business with reliable data, operating in 12 European markets and covering over 500 models and 300 scenarios. 🧑💻 Interested in how Car Cost Expert can benefit your business? • ⚡ BEV adoption across Europe – why are some markets thriving while others stall? Across Europe, BEV adoption is taking very different paths: 🔹 France: Hybrid sales are rising while BEV market share slows down. 🔹 Italy: BEV registrations surged 126.2% in January—the highest since June 2024. How can OEMs, fleet managers and remarketing teams adapt? 📊 Will BEV adoption regain pace across Europe? 📉 What do these shifts mean for residual values and total cost of ownership (TCO)? 🔎 What role will government incentives and industrial policies play moving forward? We’re breaking it all down in EV Outlook 2025 – What’s in Store for Europe?, happening 12 March 2025. 🎙️ Join Christoph Ruhland, Dr. Christof Engelskirchen, Ana Azofra, Tom Geggus, and Christian Schneider as they share exclusive insights and forecasts for BEVs in 2025 and beyond. 👉 Register now to stay ahead of market trends: https://ow.ly/2vo850V7tUN

  • 🚗 Could PHEVs still play a role beyond 2035? The EU’s 2035 deadline to phase out CO₂-emitting cars has long been seen as a turning point for BEV adoption. But recent reports suggest PHEVs could still be part of the picture beyond 2035. As governments adjust electrification policies and CO₂ targets, questions remain about Europe’s long-term BEV strategy: 🔹 What does this mean for BEV adoption? 🔹 Is industrial policy clear enough to support a full BEV transition? 🔹 How are different markets responding to these regulatory shifts? • 💡 New tax changes could reshape the EV landscape in the UK Starting April 2025, the UK’s Expensive Car Supplement will apply to electric vehicles priced over £40,000. 💸 This change could add up to £2,800 in additional excise duty over a five-year ownership period. Currently, 70% of new EV models fall within this price range. These costs could deter buyers and create new challenges for EV adoption, affecting both sales and market dynamics. Our webinar will explore: ● How these tax changes impact buyer decisions ● Residual value forecasts and market strategies to mitigate risk ● Steps stakeholders can take to remain competitive Don’t miss out on these crucial insights. • ⚡ Charging infrastructure holds the key to EV success across Europe ⚡ At the end of Q1 2024, Europe had over 818,000 public charging points. However, these are far from evenly spread across the continent. ● The Netherlands leads with 154,219 locations, making up 18.8% of Europe’s entire network. ● Germany follows closely with 130,828 points, while France holds 127,530. ● Meanwhile, Eastern Europe is focusing on high-power charging stations to maximise efficiency and meet demand with fewer points. These disparities are shaping how different regions adapt to EV adoption and residual value trends. How do infrastructure investments influence your strategy? Join us on 12 March 2025 to hear from our experts about infrastructure’s impact on the future of EV markets. 👉 Sign up now! https://ow.ly/JaLb50UZEgQ
