Do you use our MetaData Sync application? If you work with DHIS2 it can be a huge time saver. With a few clicks, you can perform tasks that used to take hours of manual work. You can keep selected metadata synchronised between instances and send data from one instance to another, automatically performing all the necessary transformations on the fly. In this post we explain its main functionalities and some use cases. We interviewed Lucía Fernández Montoya, PhD, who has been instrumental in making this application what it is today. Have you ever wished there was an application that could translate project management concepts into DHIS2 concepts? The Data Management App is just that. This app allows you to track and report on all stages of a project, from creation, through data collection and review, to data analysis. The different stages are designed to be quick to configure and easy to use, even if you are not used to DHIS2 applications. The Data Management application is a custom DHIS2 solution we have developed for Samaritan's Purse. They needed an app that could quickly and easily guide its users through DHIS2 to the things that really matter to them. Customised applications do just that, saving a lot of time and training because they can be tailored to the people who will be using them. We presented this app at the last #DHIS2Symposium with Derek Blalock from Samaritan's Purse.
