Under oktober uppmärksammar vi kampen mot bröstcancer genom olika aktiviteter under vår ”Rosa månad”. Under månaden uppmuntrar vi vår personal att tänka lite extra på sin hälsa med vårt ”Må-bra Bingo”, vi delar ut Rosa-bandet till anställda för att stötta Cancerforskningen. Vi arrangerar återigen vår ”Rosa onsdag” där vi uppmuntrar alla anställda att klä sig i rosa för att visa vårt stöd till alla drabbade men också för att påminna om vikten av förebyggande insatser mot sjukdomen. Förra året blev vår rosa månad mycket uppskattad och vi tycker det är viktigt att fortsatt sprida budskapet i kampen mot bröstcancer. #gestampteam #gestamplulea

News in our journey towards a more #sustainable mobility! Gestamp and thyssenkrupp Steel signed today a corresponding memorandum of understanding because of which we will count with CO2-reduced steel in the future. Concretely, ThyssenKrupp will be supplying Gestamp's plants with its CO2-reduced bluemint steel.   This agreement not only strengthens our circular economy model but also supports our customers in their pursuit of carbon neutrality and NetZero-Car. It's a significant step forward in our commitment to decarbonization and a more sustainable future.

This week we celebrated our Tech Summit 2024 in Bielefeld! Our Technology and Innovation team shared and displayed their most updated high engineered technological solutions to keep Gestamp at the forefront of the sector in this transformation era. A huge thank you to the #GestampTeam involved for creating such an amazing opportunity to connect and share knowledge internally. It's this spirit of collaboration and innovation that drives us forward!

To pool our results and initiatives, chart our next steps, and exchange best practices in energy efficiency and decarbonization across all Gestamp plants. 🔍 Two days of collaborative effort and knowledge sharing propel us forward on our journey to reduce energy consumption and decarbonize our operations! #GestampTeam

A few days ago, Gestamp’s Corporate Purchasing Department, together with the ESG team, conducted a training for members of our Sales organization. It was focused on the opportunities and challenges surrounding the use of low-emission steels, and the competitive advantage of using scrap as a secondary raw material to reduce its carbon footprint. We are committed to drive the #CircularEconomy in every step we take. At Gestamp, we manufacture sustainability from within!

Gestamp participates in the first edition of IZB ZOOM IN, an event organized by Volkswagen Group and held this week in Wolfsburg (Germany), where numerous international automotive suppliers gathered to explore cutting-edge concepts under the theme of #SustainableMaterials. Our active participation in diverse formats, including expert presentations, an exhibition with part of our product portfolio, panel discussions, and engaging workshops with the VW team, underlines our commitment to driving #innovation in the pursuit of a sustainable future.
