Sobre nosotros
Reimagining the way pioneers embrace state-of-art car engineering, since 1904. Hispano Suiza is a historic Spanish car brand owned by four generations of the Suqué Mateu family. Hispano Suiza Fábrica de Automóviles S.A. was founded in Barcelona in 1904 by Damián Mateu with the support of Technical Director and engineer Marc Birkigt, also a partner in the company. Between 1904-1946, Hispano Suiza built more than 12,000 luxury performance cars and 50,000 aeroplane engines. Today – with its headquarters, technical centre, and manufacturing facility in Barcelona – Hispano Suiza embodies a proud Spanish spirit with a strong family legacy. In 2000, Hispano Suiza built a prototype luxury two-seat supercar HS21, which was shown in Geneva that same year. The K8 and HS21-GTS models, both evolutions of the first, were presented in 2001 and 2002. Since it was founded, four generations of the Suqué Mateu family have preserved the family brand, injecting impetus and dynamism to maintain the significant heritage. On taking control of the company, Miguel Mateu – the son of the founder – continued the production of prestigious, top-of-the-range cars. After his death, his daughter Carmen Mateu was nominated President and she continued her father's work, keeping the essence of the brand alive through a diverse range of activities including events, exhibitions, conferences, book and magazine publication, research articles, and participation in rallies. Today, Hispano Suiza is overseen by its President – Miguel Suqué Mateu – the great grandson of Hispano Suiza’s founder. Hispano Suiza is part of the Peralada Group, which represents the pinnacle of luxury in gastronomy and entertainment through its global portfolio of casinos, restaurants, hotels, golf course, vineyards, music festival and marinas

Valencia, estamos a vuestro lado.

After the success of the Hispano Suiza 12-15CV, the brand launched its awaited successor in 1914: the T24 8/10. This new model was simpler and more cost-effective, thanks to several redesigns that increased its overall performance. Given its great acceptance and popularity, the T24's production extended until the beginning of the 1920s.

We're still rejoicing over the Petersen 30th Anniversary Gala we attended this past week. It is one of the most distinguished dates in the automotive world, and we couldn't miss the celebration of its 30th anniversary. It was a grand night filled with the captivating spirit of Jay Leno and the riveting passion for classic vehicles among the attendees. The homage to Peter Meyer, founding chairman at the Petersen Museum, was one of the most memorable highlights of the night. We are very grateful to the Petersen Automotive Museum for such a wonderful night.

The passion for the motorsport world is present in every corner of Austin before the Formula 1 this weekend. It was a pleasure to participate in one of the most exclusive events in the city that is happening in parallel with the motorsport competition. "Road To The Race" is organized by The Exotics Network in collaboration with the Circuit of The Americas. Luis Pérez-Sala, Hispano Suiza's Test Driver and Brand Ambassador, participated in a unique panel and shared insights about his trajectory as a Formula 1 driver as well as his current work at Hispano Suiza. Luis wasn't alone in this US adventure: the Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera was showcased during this special event. Our latest hypercar captivated all the attendees and left its mark on Austin. Thanks to our partners and friends at Post Oak Motor Cars for counting on us for this extraordinary event!
