Today we conclude the 35th edition of IEEE PIMRC. It has been a pleasure to have the speakers and presentations available throughout this week. Narcís Cardona, director of the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) at UPV, delivered the closing speech, followed by Ester Olivas Cáceres Director General of Entrepreneurship and Internationalization at the Generalitat Valenciana, and Salvador Coll Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Adrian Garcia Rodriguez, a team leader at Ericsson Research, talked to us about Artificial Intelligence (#AI) path to the #6G air interface in the keynote of #IEEE #PIMRC2024. He explained how artificial intelligence is shaping the next generation of wireless networks, specifically in the 6G air interface. Our speaker has highlighted the advances in #5G, the challenges we face and the opportunities for integrating AI effectively in 6G. 🗨️ Panel 3: Future Radio Technologies for Intelligent vehicles In Panel 3, chaired by Lei Lu, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., China, the interesting trend of the evolution of the digitized and intelligent automotive industry was discussed. The Panelist Maxime Flament, Gorokhova Natalia, Robert Müller, Zhisheng Niu, and Markus Dillinger highlighted the necessity of performing precise and predictive sensing and positioning, integrated communication, computing, and sensing, high reliability and low latency sensor sharing for high mobility condition. 🥂 Yesterday, the gala dinner was held, where our guests enjoyed a wonderful Valencian night at the iconic venue, Veles e Vents Valencia. There, they were able to share all their ideas and impressions about the conference. In addition to that there were presented the awards for Best Paper, sponsored by Huawei and Best Student, sponsored by Orange Congratulations to all the winners! 🏆🎉👏🏻👏🏻

🗨️Special Session 1: "𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀: 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟲𝗚". During Special Session 1, Siavash Alamouti delivered the keynote speech on "Digital Twins: Unleashing the Potential of #5G and #6G with Hybrid Edge Cloud". He presented innovative HEC concepts, which is an essential foundation for the realisation of Digital Twins. HEC bridges the gap between end devices and centralised cloud infrastructure, providing a seamless, scalable and efficient framework for data processing and management. In addition, panelists Xueli An, Rahim Tafazolli, Juan Serrano Sanchez, and Fay Arjomandi offered their perspective on the potential of Digital Twins in the #6G era.
