It was an honour to take part in the 2024 SDG Interviews project in New York during Climate Week. As the only hospitality group invited to participate, we were proud to share more about our award-winning initiatives, such as Ikos Green, and the importance of collaboration in preserving the Mediterranean destinations where we operate. At the event, our ESG Director Eleni Andreadis discussed our "triple zero" commitment – net-zero carbon emissions by 2030, eliminating single-use plastics and waste-to-landfill by the end of 2024, as well as partnerships with over 40 organizations that we work with in our wider sustainability programme. Eleni also highlighted our circular economy practices and the work we do to protect local ecosystems and support local communities, as well as what’s next for the programme, as Ikos Resorts moves forward with its ambitious sustainability goals.
