Our visit to Deltalight's headquarters in Belgium has been a truly inspiring experience. Over the past few days, we have had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the heart of a leading company in architectural lighting, exploring its processes, its focus on innovation, and its passion for design. From the warm welcome by Jan and Peter Ameelot to the tour of their factory, every detail reflects Delta Light’s commitment to excellence. We witnessed their meticulous assembly and quality control process, where each luminaire is crafted with precision and care. We discovered the impact of lighting on spaces through the fascinating Lighting Lab and gained insight into the science behind optics in the Optics Training. Finally, visiting the Den-Nachtegael vineyard—filled with solutions from the Belgian brand—and learning about its artisanal production process was a reminder that passion and dedication are the foundation of any great project. Above all, this experience has been special thanks to all of you who joined us on this journey. A project in which we have worked hand in hand with renowned architect Alberto Rodríguez and the homeowners to design a lighting, control, and audio system that enhances the beauty and functionality of each space. Located in a privileged enclave in Marbella, this residence is not just a house but an expression of design and a passion for architecture. Every detail has been carefully considered to inspire and amaze. Lighting, essential to the home's atmosphere, has been meticulously designed with Deltalight fixtures, combining direct and indirect light to highlight the architecture, landscaping, and decor. The entire system is managed through Lutron Electronics, allowing for personalized scenes and lighting adjustments throughout the day, seamlessly blending functionality, aesthetics, and energy efficiency. Sound plays a fundamental role in the home's experience. A Sonance and Sonos, Inc. audio system delivers exceptional quality both indoors and outdoors, with speakers discreetly integrated into the garden for an immersive ambiance. In the home theater, the combination of a Dolby Laboratories Atmos system and a laser projector transforms every movie into a captivating experience. In the heart of the Golden Mile, Solvilla - Property Developers & Advisors has taken the office to a new level, and at Illusion, we’ve had the privilege of being part of this project, implementing technological solutions that make a difference. By integrating a Lutron Electronics lighting and climate control system, along with Palladiom thermostats, we have created a fully customizable environment where every detail is designed to optimize comfort and efficiency. Additionally, Deltalight’s lighting not only highlights the architectural lines but also contributes to a warm and sophisticated atmosphere, ideal for working or welcoming clients. The Samsung Electronics screens, seamlessly integrated into the furniture, provide exceptional visual quality for presentations and meetings. Meanwhile, the 2N access control system ensures that entry flow remains exclusive, efficient, and secure, adding an extra layer of distinction. We had the privilege of attending another edition of #ISE Barcelona. Beyond discovering the latest technological innovations, it was an opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and find inspiration to keep elevating smart space experiences. Among our partners, Lutron Electronics introduced its new Aviena and Verti keypads, with unique design and advanced functionality. Bang & Olufsen stood out with its Atelier series, personalizing sound for any environment. Samsung Electronics showcased the latest of its microLED modular display, The Wall, alongside solutions for corporate and commercial spaces. Airzone Control introduced renewed finishes for climate control. Sonance impressed with compact speakers that deliver the same high-quality sound with minimal visual impact, while Architettura Sonora exhibited its sound sculptures, combining art and technology. At CEDIA Smart Home Technology Stage, we shared our vision on the synergy between design and technology, and how early collaboration between integrators and designers allows for the creation of environments where functionality and emotion go hand in hand. At Illusion, we had the honor of working closely with Alberto Rodríguez's studio in designing and developing their new workspace. This project, full of challenges and opportunities, represents the union of creativity, innovation, and attention to detail, values we share with Alberto and his team. The implementation of advanced systems like Lutron Electronics for controlling lighting, climate, and natural light was key to creating a dynamic environment tailored to the studio’s needs. For lighting, we chose customized solutions from Deltalight, prioritizing warm and sophisticated tones that evoke a residential feel while maintaining professional elegance. We also incorporated Occhio GmbH elements in the meeting room, ensuring flexibility for different scenarios and color temperatures. The most exciting part of this project was working with a team as passionate and detail-oriented as Alberto Rodríguez’s.
