We have passed the halfway mark of our #EuropeanGreenCapital Year, a year full of impactful initiatives and community engagement. València has made significant strides in sustainability, including enhancing green spaces, promoting sustainable mobility, and improving energy efficiency. Gradually, the City Council's new green agenda appointments are becoming known. Take note: 📅 Upcoming Green Agenda Events 📅 📍 II Mobility Event (13th-15th September): Framed within the European Mobility Week, this event will explore urban and electric mobility advances. It features round tables, presentations, and a 72-hour mobility hackathon to develop innovative solutions. 📍 Plogging Tour (5th October): Originating in Sweden in 2016, #plogging integrates sports with trash collection, involving over 25,000 people in 150 countries. The event includes a 2.5 km family circuit, a 5.6 km race, and an 11 km Plogging Pro. 📍 III Sustainability Hackathon (29th-30th November): 80 professionals, students, and sustainability experts will develop solutions for circular economy, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, green spaces, biodiversity, and social inclusion. Have you ever wished to know exactly how someone feels when they taste one of your dishes? To know if they really like it, or if they’re just being polite? 🤔🍽   Now, with Thimus’ technology, it’s possible. 🎉   This startup brings to Valencia an innovative technology based on #neuroscience that analyzes the emotions triggered by food. 🧠   Their CEO, Mario Ubiali, explained the various features of their product, and it was the City Councilor for Tourism, Innovation, and Investment Attraction, Paula Llobet Vilarrasa, who tested the product demo during its presentation this morning at La Harinera.   Presentation hosted by our Project Manager, Virginia García Romero, with the attendance of Luz Martínez Musoles ⍟, Director of Internacional Cámara Valencia in Cámara Valencia and Lucía Calabria Tasa, Deputy Director of entrepreneurship at València Innovation Capital.   Thimus was born from the idea of preserving the values of Mediterranean gastronomy, offering support to companies in creating, researching, quality reviewing, and reformulating new food products, using technology that collects statistical data to support strategic decisions.   Its arrival in Valencia strengthens our position as a technological hub, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate it.
