Our Medical Director, Epilepsy, Kishan Vyas MRPharmS PGDip highlights the importance of generating real world evidence (RWE) in rare and severe epilepsies: https://lnkd.in/eYv_dvJH     The value of RWE lies in its ability to give context to the findings of randomized clinical trials and deepen our understanding of the true burden of disease – including the unmet needs of people living with these conditions, and how to address them. It also provides profound insights into the treatment outcomes which matter most to them – as well as their caregivers and families.  

Future Oncology recently published a plain language summary of the results from our phase 2b study evaluating a potential HER2-targeted therapy in patients with HER2-amplified biliary tract #cancer (BTC). The manuscript, co-authored with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, communicates the significance of this study and its potential impact for people living with HER2-positive BTC. We are dedicated to pioneering innovative research and developing meaningful medicines for complex diseases with limited or no treatment options. Biliary tract cancer (BTC) is composed of several different types of tumors, each with distinct characteristics that differ based on where they are located within the liver, gallbladder and biliary tract. Idiopathic hypersomnia (IH), a rare sleep disorder, can often be difficult to diagnose. This Biliary tract cancer (BTC) is typically aggressive and can pose significant challenges for people impacted, particularly in cases with HER2 overexpression.     To help address this, we are pioneering a treatment approach that explores a novel bispecific antibody designed to target HER2-positive BTC with multiple mechanisms of action.
