Recently, JSFaluroofs® was invited by the AEAS “Odour Commission” to visit the San Claudio, Villaperez, and Este WWTP installations in Asturias (Spain). These plants are considered to be designed using the most advanced techniques in odour containment and treatment.   Being well aware of the challenges that these types of wastewater facilities face in terms of effective odour control, JSFaluroofs® is proud to have been involved in the design and construction of these three WWTP. Above all, our success was to have helped achieve a considerable reduction in the emission of odours and CO2, as well as having facilitated operations and efficiency at the plants while considerably improving the visual impact they have on the environment and their efficiency in terms of deodorisation and impacts on air quality.   We would like to thank and congratulate all the entities involved on AEAS Odor’s commission (CABB, Aqualia, Facsa, Sacyr, Sav, Hydrens, Cedex, Global Omnium, Cadasa, Sorigue, Consorcio Besos Tordera, Cadagua, Acciona Agua)for the invitation as well as technical managers of these projects leaded by CHN and ACUAES , responsible for leading this success.

🏗️Success story: EDAR Glina, Romania🏗️ JSF aluroofs® has completed the installation of over 6,789 m² of alugreca® roofs at the EDAR Glina wastewater treatment plant in Romania. This project is part of the plant's expansion and modernization, designed to treat more than one million cubic meters daily by 2040, serving 2,400,000 people in Bucharest. The project was executed by a consortium led by Aqualia and FCC Construcción, a client of JSF aluroofs®. The work included the construction of a new pretreatment line, a new biological treatment line with a capacity of 8.9 m³/s, 24 secondary settling tanks, and the expansion of sludge dewatering facilities. 📐Technical challenges in this success story The installation took place under adverse weather conditions, with snow and cold, while the plant remained operational. ✔️Snow loads of 2kN/m² with no intermediate pillars ✔️ Spans exceeding 30 meters without intermediate pillars ✔️Primary sludge mixing tanks: 121 m² and 196 m² ✔️ Odor treatment tank: 784 m² ✔️ Digestive sludge buffer tank: 400 m² ✔️ Excess sludge storage tanks: 4,032 m² ✔️ Primary sludge thickeners: 1,256 m² JSFaluroofs® contribution The alugreca® roofs provided lightweight, self-supporting, and sustainable solutions, designed to withstand high snow loads without intermediate pillars, using an auxiliary aluminum structure. 🏗️JSF aluroofs® Will Participate in Equipment Covering at the EDAR Pinedo Wastewater Treatment Plant, Valencia, Spain🏗️ We are pleased to announce that JSF aluroofs® will be part of the modernization project for the Edar Pinedo wastewater treatment plant, the largest in the Valencia Community, serving 1,775,573 residents of Valencia and its metropolitan area. This plant, divided into Pinedo 1 and Pinedo 2, has a design flow of 324,800 m³/day and a treatment capacity of up to 350,000 m³/day, including tertiary treatment for final water disinfection. At JSF aluroofs® , we will participate in the modernization of the equipment to increase the efficiency and quality of water treatment. The work will include covering elements that may generate odors and noise, thereby improving the environment and sustainability of the plant.
