  • #EquatorialGuinea 🇬🇶 Incredible image from Trident Energy’s ROV which shows the final subsea connection of the C-45 infill well on Block G in a water depth of over 745 meters! Trident's recent success with the C-45 infill well showcases the potential for mid-life asset optimization in offshore Equatorial Guinea. Producing over 5,000 barrels per day with expectations to increase, this well highlights the effectiveness of meticulous field studies, seismic surveys, and advanced simulations in tapping into previously undrained reserves at the Ceiba Field. Following closely, the OF-19 well in the Okume Complex will soon be online, reinforcing Trident’s commitment to leveraging technical expertise to enhance value from mature fields. These achievements underscore Equatorial Guinea's offshore sector as an attractive area for continued investment. #OffshoreEnergy #TridentEnergy #OilAndGas #EnergyInnovation #DeepwaterExploration #OilandGas #WeBringNewLifeToMidLifeAssets #RockTheRocks

📢 Drilling update, offshore Equatorial Guinea Trident Energy, as operator of Block G, is pleased to announce the C-45 infill well is successfully producing in excess of 5,000 barrels per day, as per our pre-drill expectations. It will continue to ramp up production to reach its full potential. C-45 is the first of two infill wells at the producing Ceiba Field and Okume complex and was drilled with the #NobleVenturer drill ship in 800m water depth to a total depth of 3,148m, encountering 142m of high quality, oil saturated, reservoir sands in an un-swept zone of the Ceiba field. The second well, OF-19, in the Okume Complex has been drilled in water depth of 450m to a total depth of 2,195m and will be online shortly. Both wells are the result of extensive field studies, seismic surveys and simulations conducted by multi-disciplinary teams to identify and evaluate areas of undrained oil. These results demonstrate our technical capabilities to identify opportunities, deliver a deepwater drilling campaign and extract value from mid-life assets. 🙌 Julien Vuillemet, General Manager of Trident Energy Equatorial Guinea, said: “We are pleased to have safely and successfully delivered the C-45 subsea infill well, a first for Trident Energy. This represents an important step towards our plan of unlocking further value from mid-life assets, a key component in our organic growth plan for Equatorial Guinea.” #TridentEnergy #Offshore #OilandGas #EquatorialGuinea #WeBringNewLifeToMidLifeAssets #RockTheRocks Check out the image 👇 showing the final subsea connection in water depth of approx 745m, via ROV.

  • #Gabon 🇬🇦 Panoro Energy has reported that it has successfully completed the eight-well drilling campaign at Dussafu. The campaign was expanded to enable fast-track development of two new discoveries announced in May 2024. With five of these new wells now onstream, alongside six existing wells at the Tortue field, production is approaching the target of 40,000 bopd from the block. The current focus is on transitioning all new wells to conventional ESP systems and restoring production at three previously shut-in wells. The next plan is to drill the Bourdon prospect, advancing exploration and appraisal strategy to unlock further organic potential within the block. During Q3, gross oil production at Dussafu averaged approximately 27,465 bopd—the highest quarterly rate achieved since production began in 2018. https://lnkd.in/gm6_7GRU #PanoroEnergy #DussafuUpdate #OilAndGas #EnergyDevelopment #ProductionMilestone
