Ya no somos más Digital Dosis, ahora somos Not Found™.
Hace poco escuchaba a Toni Segarra en un podcast reciente, remarcando algo que todos sabemos pero que es importante recalcar una y otra vez: los métodos de antes ya no funcionan. La época en la que una marca te interrumpía para explicarte su película, ya no existe más.
La evidente y más que obvia fragmentación de la atención de las audiencias en distintos medios, no es el único escollo que inhabilita los paradigmas antiguos. La transición a una sociedad individualizada y posmoderna, junto a la sobreexposición en redes, explota más que nunca la idea de la autorrealización y la definición de la identidad propia mediante las marcas que consumimos. Y además, la globalización y la eliminación de barreras de entrada, hacen que tengamos infinitas opciones de todo.
Todo ello, obliga a las marcas a desarrollarse y hacerse hueco en un contexto de hipercompetencia por la atención, por el significado y por el mercado.
La gente ya no confía en lo que le dice la marca de manera directa. Recuerdo a mi abuela repetir un slogan como si fuera una verdad absoluta. Hoy eso no pasa ni de casualidad. Hoy más que nunca una marca tiene que focalizarse en encontrar y definir un espacio en el mercado, entender las motivaciones de su público y construir una narrativa que movilice a esas audiencias.
Al final es simplemente eso, una marca es un relato en la cabeza de la gente, un conjunto de percepciones y significados que la distinguen sobre el resto, con la única intención de generar preferencia.
Añadiendo más complejidad a todo esto. Vivimos en un contexto constantemente cambiante: lo que hoy se percibe como cool, mañana está pasado. Lo que hoy significa cercano, mañana resulta frío y artificial. Eso obliga a desarrollar marcas que deben mantener un constante pulso entre la coherencia y la adaptabilidad.
En consecuencia, el trabajo de crear, desarrollar y posicionar marcas no tiene una fórmula mágica.
De eso trata Not Found™, de una búsqueda constante en un contexto en constante cambio. Es más una actitud que un propósito. Un propósito que en todo caso sería inalcanzable, lo que funcionaba ayer no funciona ahora, y lo de ahora, no funcionará mañana. La mejor manera que conocemos para seguir generando valor es estar en permanente movimiento, en permanente búsqueda.
Una búsqueda que traducimos en mantener un enfoque analítico, que recopile toda aquella información útil que nos permita definir una estrategia de percepción y posicionamiento efectiva. En mantener y alimentar una sensibilidad creativa y cultural que conecte con las personas a las que se dirige la marca. Y en entender y explotar la idea del “Digital”, no como un canal, una herramienta o una división aparte, sino como un todo: un contexto sobre el que fluimos sin distinción de lo “Real”.
De esto trata Not Found™. De que ante un contexto en constante cambio, nunca hay que dejar de buscar soluciones.
