Last Tuesday, we hosted an inspiring C-level dinner in Sweden, where we explored and learned about how everything we do can contribute value to both people and the planet 🌍 . Our speaker, Sofia Lindelöw from Norrsken, shared her journey and also highlighted the power of being a generalist: “Being a generalist is also a choice. You don’t have to be a specialist.” She highlighted how gathering broad experience has allowed her to thrive: “Now I know what questions to ask, and when you know that, you’re kind of sorted.” Sofia encouraged us to seize every opportunity to grow, reminding us of the importance of balancing personal energy: "Buffer when you can—being at 100% all the time isn't sustainable given life will demand 120% from you from time to time." The conversation focused on integrity in business decisions and finding solution-oriented approaches to sustainability. She passionately called for optimism in how we raise awareness: “Make people excited about the future we could have if we act now."

Well, here they are! 👇 👨💻 Nova of the Month - April Attilio Abeille is an experienced Account Executive at Snowflake in Stockholm, with a strong business development and technology background. Before Snowflake, he spent three years at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Madrid, where he progressed from Business Development Representative to Account Executive for Game Tech, driving growth and partnerships. Attilio also gained experience in business strategy during his roles at Papernest and Microsoft, where he implemented business processes, managed complex operations, and supported growth initiatives. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and has completed executive education in Artificial Intelligence at UC Berkeley. 👩💼 Nova of the Month - May Catherine Vera is a seasoned management consultant at Bain & Company, where she has worked for over five years and currently serves as a Manager. Jørgensen de Vizcarrondo, has raised five million euros of non-dilutive funding through four international instruments including Innovate UK through “Smart grants” and “Needle-free grants”. 🤖 Genesy AI, a novel B2B lead generation software, announces a pre-seed investment round of €450K, led by Itnig and KFund. This investment will enable the company to accelerate its growth and product development. Our star in this case is Kai Brandt López, CEO & Founder of Genesy AI. 🙌 Ignacio Moreno Pubul, Luis Basagoiti Marqués, and Miguel Fernandez Larrea, Novas who co-founded Capchase, announced their newest credit facility warehouse of €105 million led by Deutsche Bank. This latest financing contributes to the more than $1 billion in combined debt and equity financing they have received since their founding in 2020. 🎓 Madrid-based edtech Bcas bags €17 million to fuel its international expansion plans. Bcas is a platform dedicated to enabling students to access higher education without financial barriers, co-founded by Manuel Avello, one of our Novas. 🧑⚕️ Swedish AI startup Tandem Health co-founded by Nova Oliver Åstrand, has raised a $9.5m seed round led by Northzone, alongside angel investors from OpenAI and Deepmind. It has 50 healthcare providers as customers in Sweden and is planning European expansion.
