💪 Chest & Biceps Workout—Time to Build Some Strength! 💪 Hey everyone! Here’s a solid chest and biceps workout I’ve been doing lately. If you’re looking to build strength and size, give this a try next time you hit the gym: 1️⃣ Incline Cable Fly (3x15) Focus on squeezing at the top to really engage your chest muscles. 2️⃣ Heavy Dumbbell Incline Press (3x failure) Go up in weight with each set—push yourself to failure for maximum results. 3️⃣ Superset: Pec Deck Machine (3x12) Right into chest dips (3x failure)—great combo for hitting the chest from different angles. 4️⃣ Machine Chest Press (3x8) Keep it slow and controlled to really feel the muscle working. 5️⃣ Superset: Incline Bicep Curls (3x10 each arm) Followed by hammer curls (3x failure)—this superset will light up your biceps. 6️⃣ Single Arm Cable Curl (3x10 each arm) Make sure to control the movement and focus on that bicep peak. Before & After: A little South African "souvenir" 🍔🍰 vs. back to my usual self. After my trip to South Africa, I came back with more than just great memories... let’s just say the steak and desserts added a bit of a "gut" 😂. So, I decided to dial it back in, focusing more on my eating and getting consistent with my training again. Now, I’m back to hitting the gym 5 days a week and making sure I hit at least 10k steps a day. And honestly, I’ve never been the kind of trainer obsessed with having a six-pack. I love my food, and let’s be real, life’s too short to always skip dessert . But what I do love? Pushing heavier weights and feeling stronger with each session . It’s all about balance. Sometimes you focus more on enjoying life, and other times you buckle down on the goals you set for yourself. But fitness should always be sustainable and something you enjoy—whether that’s building strength, improving your endurance, or yes, even treating yourself to the occasional dessert. 💪 You’ve probably heard trainers talk about "training to failure," but do you know what it really means? Training to failure means pushing yourself to the point where you physically can’t complete another rep with proper form. It’s a powerful tool for muscle growth, but it’s not the only way to train. Some people prefer keeping 1-2 reps "in the tank"—stopping just before failure. Both methods have their place depending on your goals, recovery, and experience. The key difference? Training to failure: Great for pushing past limits and maximizing growth. Saving 1-2 reps: Helps manage fatigue and maintain consistent performance throughout your workout. But here’s the thing: you’ll never really know if you have 1-2 reps left unless you’ve trained to failure at least once on each exercise. That’s how you find your rep range and know your limits.
