To perform their function, servo-actuators require extreme response speeds and performance, similar to those used in space missions and systems, a field in which at Sener we have considerable experience. Following this first units for testing, we plant to deliver a total of 104 in 2024 for the Lilium Jet’s ground testing and certification flight phases. #SenerAerospaceandDefence

In partnership with Shaker Consultancy Group, we are responsible for the design of the special bridges, the architecture, and the structural and envelope design of the stations and depots, in addition to all systems assurance.👏 The project covers two lines: ◾ The “New Capital” line will connect the new urban areas featuring 22 stations along a 54-kilometer route. ◾ “6th of October”, with 42 kilometers in length and 13 stations serving the west bank of the Nile up to Giza.     Proud to announce that the European Space Agency - ESA has recognised our #SenerTeam for its outstanding work on the Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS) system for the Euclid mission! An acknowledgement of the commitment and technological capability of our Sener Aerospace & Defence team who, as the prime contractor for the AOCS system, have led the design and development of this mission-critical system, unprecedented in its concept, design, and operation. ❗ It provides pointing stability never achieved: 75 milliarcseconds with 99.7% confidence, enabling the acquisition of the high quality images and scientific knowledge that the Euclid mission is generating. 💡 Since its launch just over a year ago, Euclid has already provided never-before-seen images of the Universe, demonstrating its ability to unravel the secrets of the cosmos and enable scientists to hunt for rogue planets, use lensed galaxies to study mysterious matter, and explore the evolution of the Universe. Over 6 years, this #ESA cosmology mission will trace the hidden web-like foundations of the cosmos, map billions of galaxies across more than one-third of the sky, explore how our Universe formed and evolved over cosmic history, and study the most mysterious of its fundamental components: dark energy and dark matter. #SenerAerospaceandDefence

    From coal to gas and hydrogen: a step forward in #energytransition! Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia gives green light to Uniper's new Scholven 1 combined heat and power plant in Gelsenkirchen (Germany). We are proud to have contributed to this milestone in the country's energy transition as part of the team responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the plant. With a capacity of around 140 MW, Scholven 1 will help meet the energy demand of industry and other customers in the region, helping to reduce CO2 emissions and replacing the previous coal-dependent infrastructure.   At its core, it consists of two gas turbines, a steam turbine, two heat recovery steam generators and a gas-fired steam boiler. To create space to start up new sustainable projects at Scholven, free space must be created by decommissioning the facilities. The decommissioning of Block F has already begun, and others will follow in succession. The final commissioning of "Scholven 1" will take place as soon as the final expert inspections have been completed and the corresponding documentation has been handed over. Our colleagues Luis Gomez, Project Manager, Jorge Nicolas, Deputy Operations Manager, and Alvaro Lorente, General Manager of Energy, attended the ceremony that took place last June. #SenerEnergy
