Onze rol is om mensen te inspireren, te enthousiasmeren en te verleiden om vaker te kiezen voor plantaardig. Dat doen we vooral door het serveren van superlekkere gerechten en ook met de eco-labels van Eaternity. Deze labels helpen gasten om klimaatvriendelijkere keuzes te maken én de ecologische voetafdruk van onze gerechten te meten. Onderzoek wijst namelijk uit dat de keuze voor duurzaam met zo’n 26% stijgt als de eco-score zichtbaar is. Resultaat? De eco-labels staan direct naast onze gerechten. Hierop zie je wat de impact van het gerecht is op het klimaat: de CO2- en klimaatscore lees je in een oogopslag af. Onze gasten kiezen vaker voor gerechten met een hoge eco-score. What’s in it voor onze klanten? 1) Duurzame ambitie is direct zichtbaar in het restaurant 2) Nauwkeurige CO2- en klimaatberekening voor gerechten 2) Helpt gasten snel een bewuste keuze te maken 3) Ondersteunt de duurzame evolutie bij chef-koks en leveranciers Sodexo heeft zich gecommitteerd aan een NetZero doelstelling in 2040 🌍. Elke dag zetten we stappen om dat doel te bereiken. Zo gaan we in 2025 voor minimaal 50% plantaardige gerechten en een uitstoot van -34%. Alles wat we vandaag doen, maakt morgen beter! Meer weten? 🔎 When innovation meets legacy, the impact is immense.   A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit Brazil 🇧🇷 - a country that has been an essential part of Sodexo’s global journey. My time there was a reminder of how deeply my father’s vision continues to shape our company.   Since taking the helm, I have remained committed to my father’s philosophy: “preserving the advantages of a large company without losing the benefits of a small one.” We have a global vision, shared guidelines, and common processes, while ensuring that our teams remain deeply connected to their local markets. In Brazil, we are Brazilian 🇧🇷. In India, we are Indian 🇮🇳. In France, we are French 🇫🇷.   This glocal balance fuels our success. Isabelle Hannedouche, Managing Director of Sodexo Greater China recently represented Sodexo at the 2025 CGF China Board CEO Closed-Door Meeting. During the event, she participated in the roundtable discussion themed "Transforming Tomorrow's Business with Tech Innovation" and shared insights from her extensive industry experience and 16-year tenure at Sodexo. At Sodexo, we’re not just committed to a people-centric approach; we’re innovating it. Isabelle underscored our initiatives, like flexible dining and ergonomic workspaces, which have dramatically enhanced employee well-being for our clients. Besides, our mission at Sodexo includes fostering healthy eating. In 2023, we teamed up with #Unilever Food Solutions and the Shanghai JS Life Sciences Institute to launch the Healthier Canteen Initiative at Unilever’s Shanghai canteen. We introduced over 100 healthy recipes and the “U Chef Cloud” tool for low-salt, low-oil, low-sugar cooking. The initiative enhanced nutrition, promoted employee health education, and improved consumer satisfaction by 10%. Use of salt, oil, and sugar was also reduced by 20%. With this initial success, we are thrilled to be expanding the pilot to include a second phase at the Bistrot Paris Shanghai, located in Sodexo’s Shanghai headquarters. As we look to the future, Sodexo will continue to deeply cultivate the Chinese market. 💜 From resilience to success: Sajeda’s journey ✨   With International Women’s Day this month, we celebrate Sajeda Khabour, whose journey embodies courage, determination, and the power of opportunity.   🌍 Fleeing conflict in Syria, Sajeda arrived in Austria ready to rebuild her future. Learning German and training as an office clerk, she faced the challenge of finding her place in a new country.
