🔈 "Booking.com to Guide Hotels Toward Third-Party Sustainability Certifications" The past 1.5 years have been a journey of discovery and dedication as we explored the role Booking.com can play in accelerating the adoption of third-party certifications in the hospitality industry. I’m thrilled to announce the launch of the first version of our new product! This product is designed to guide our accommodation partners through every step of obtaining a third-party certification. From required actions to recommended certifications, we aim to make the process as seamless as possible, including information on pricing, discounts, and available local government grants. I am deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this program’s development—too many to name! But this is only the beginning. And for those who have invested in achieving a credible third-party certification, having that clearly displayed to potential guests is also increasingly important. That’s why we're very excited to announce that our accommodation partners will now be able to access tailored insights and support that guides them towards the third-party certifications that are best suited to their property’s profile, needs and operations. Accommodations that have achieved a third-party certification will have that information clearly displayed on Booking.com, and travelers can filter their searches accordingly. To date, more than 18.000 accommodations have a third-party certification displayed on our platform – and we’re looking forward to helping more partners join them and continue their journey!
