Expanish Spanish Schools, a network of schools dedicated to teaching Spanish, engaged us to conduct a strategic study for their brand repositioning and to develop a new identity as they relocate their Barcelona headquarters. The goal is to leverage this transition to revitalize the brand, increase visibility, and strengthen connections with students. We propose a refreshed visual identity with a vibrant and dynamic graphic style, adaptable across physical, digital, and animated materials suited for various communication channels. Our creative approach centers on a collection of geometric shapes that evoke travel “patches” commonly seen on luggage, as well as dialogue bubbles, symbolizing the link between learning and cultural exploration. The expanded color palette adds energy and flexibility, while the photographs capture students enjoying their experiences alongside iconic landmarks in each city where the school operates, reinforcing the connection to the local setting. With the brand concept “Connecting Cultures,” Expanish emerges as more than a language school—it’s a meeting place for immersive experiences that blend language learning with city exploration, local interaction, and cultural engagement, making the journey of learning Spanish both comprehensive and enriching.
