The ECW-FER/UNICEF project, focused on improving education in drought-affected areas, was monitored and evaluated through a joint field visit by various stakeholders, including regional education and social affairs bureaus, UNICEF Ethiopia, and the Imagine1day team. The project targeted six primary schools in Elidar Woreda, where it made significant progress in providing gender-responsive latrines, MHM rooms, child-friendly #WASH facilities, scholastic materials, combined desks, and dignity kits. These efforts contributed to creating better learning environments and ensuring access to quality education for children. The project was widely appreciated by stakeholders for its effective implementation and positive impact on the school community.
