About us
The xHub Innovation Society (“xHub”) is a proposed innovation space, managed by the Centre for African Leadership Studies (CALS), in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. At xHub, young entrepreneurs would receive pro-active, value-added support, and access to critical tools, information, education, contacts, resources and capital that may otherwise be unaffordable, inaccessible or unknown. xHub would allow for knowledge exchange between the academic and business community to contribute to information and communication technology (ICT) innovation within their local context. Through xHub, we will provide equal opportunity for men and women to reach their full innovative potential by providing the support, guidance and knowledge needed to enhance an already powerful generation. Such an innovation space collaboration hub would be a catalyst to align the skills and projects that the youth need with real business demands so that they can see their efforts as contributing to a viable career.

🚀 "Innovation in Agriculture: The Future Starts Here!" 📣 Last week marked a memorable milestone as 5 digital training development startups emerged and were supported through the Qesbeqes "ቀስበቀስ" Agri-accelerator initiative of the Climate-sensitives Innovations for Land Management (CLM) project which is implemented on behalf of the German Government. Over the last 6 months, 25 young professionals have been equipped with essential knowledge and skills such as leadership and entrepreneurship, business planning and strategy, marketing, and branding through the Qesbeqes incubation project. This project not only helped young professionals establish their companies but also created 20+ immersive and motivating digital training modules that foster productivity, sustainability, and economic prosperity in the agriculture sector in Ethiopia.
