This document is an excerpt from the EUR-Lex website
You can use the advanced search to refine your search based on several specific search criteria.
At the top of the advanced search page, you can select one, several or all EUR-Lex collections (e.g. Treaties, legal acts, case-law).
Search criteria will be specific to the collection you select.
The Text search box is the same for all collections. It provides considerable flexibility as regards the terms you want to search for thanks to the search operators AND, OR, NOT and the check boxes In title and In text.
For example, you can search for a document with a specific term in the title and another one in the text, or for a document with a specific term in the title and not in the text, etc.
Some of the fields have a + icon on the right-hand side of the search box. Click it to open a new window with the list of additional criteria.
