Static electricity in everyday work environments may seem harmless, but it can be a hidden danger. SCI Corporation is now proud to introduce the new MCS-AS with automatic shuttle for complete control of the cleaning process for optimal, repeatable results. Customize your packaging pallet by combining a speed-adjustable pneumatic or servo-electric slide with a stainless steel nest. Your operator simply places the pallet with product into the nest and touches the Opto-Touch button. Start the cleaning cycle. The MCS-AS transports nests at controlled speeds through a cleaning area where electrostatic wands and stainless steel air tubes provide compressed ionized air to neutralize electrostatic charges on pallets/parts and remove particles from surfaces, nooks and crannies.
Once airborne, particles in the clean area are captured by the MCS-AS dust collector, which draws powerful vacuum, high-velocity air from the clean area, delivering contaminants into a vacuum trough in a stainless steel hood. Particles are captured by the dust collector's internal filter, and clean air is gently sent back into the clean room through a HEPA-filtered exhaust.
