Erinomaista työtä Helsingin Sanomat betonin esille nostamisesta ilmastonmuutoksen torjunnassa. Myös Forbes käsitteli teemaa maanantaina omassa Earth Day -artikkelissaan haastatellessaan meitä Caidio’lla. Tulevina vuosikymmeninä maailman rakennettu ympäristö tulee kaksinkertaistumaan ja ilman betonirakentamisen suurta kehitysloikkaa tämä kumoaa muilla teollisuudenaloilla tehtyjä hiilileikkauksia. Globaalisti betonintuotanto vastaa tällä hetkellä 8%:sta maailman hiilipäästöistä. Jatkossa tuon ennustetaan kasvavan 12%:iin jos mitään ei tehdä. Jo tällä hetkellä 15% Kiinan hiilipäästöistä tulee betonista. Meillä on monta tapaa vähentää betonirakentamisen hiilipäästöjä ja meillä onkin Suomessa monta kasvuyritystä, kuten esimerkiksi Betolar, Caidio, Carbonaide ja Hyperion Robotics, jotka ratkovat alan massiivista haastetta. https://lnkd.in/daTz_k_b
