10 years ago today, we released Cities: Skylines 🥳 We founded Colossal Order with the dream of creating a city-builder that would bring more freedom and creativity to the cities players can build. With Cities: Skylines, that dream not only came true, but thanks to the continued support of our amazing fans, we had the opportunity to keep expanding the game many years after its release and take it even further than anticipated. It's been an incredible journey that has taught us so much, and we are forever grateful to everyone who made it possible and who joined us along the way. 💙 Here's to many more years of building cities! 🎉 🏙️

We're excited to share our experience from Cities: Skylines - Green Cities with our fellow members at the Sustainable Games Alliance this Wednesday, January 22nd. In this talk, Samantha Woods, our community manager, will explore how we communicate the environmental challenges cities face through game design and development diaries, showcasing how gameplay and messaging come together to inspire sustainable city-building. If you're not yet a member of the Sustainable Games Alliance and would like to learn more or join the conversation, reach out to Maria Wagner, Managing Director, for more details.

This year, we released 12 patches, 100+ free assets, and 20 new features, all driven by player feedback. We’re committed to continuing this journey with Cities: Skylines II and realizing its full potential. Here’s to another year of growth, collaboration, and city-building adventures. Happy New Year!
