DGE Group’s First ESG Report Released DGE Group has published its first Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report, covering our 2023 operations across Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden. In line with VSME ESRS standards, the report reflects the Group's commitment to responsible business practices and our role in supporting our clients as they address the ESG topics in their own operations. The report was the end result of deepening cooperation and information integration between the different Group countries. #CSRD #ESG #ESRS

Viimeisten vuosien aikana olemme syventäneet integraatiota DGE Groupin sisällä. Osana integraatioprosessia aloitimme ESG-tiedon keskitetyn keräämisen Groupin eri jäsenmailta. "YVA-menettelyn tarpeen huomioimatta jättäminen voi johtaa merkittäviin lisäkustannuksiin ja suunnitelmien muutoksiin. Tämän vuoksi onkin usein ehdottoman tärkeää toteuttaa YVAn tarveharkintaselvitys, jossa kartoitetaan hankkeen ominaisuuksiin, kuten kokoluokkaan, toiminnan luonteeseen ja sijaintiin nähden YVAn tarpeellisuutta ja prosessin todennäköisyyttä. Tarveharkinta voi tulla ajankohtaiseksi myös hankkeesta vastaavasta toimijasta riippumatta, jolloin asia voi tulla ELY-keskuksen tietoon esimerkiksi yksittäisten henkilöiden kautta.  Tarveharkintaselvityksellä on ainakin kaksi tehtävää. Ensinnäkin siinä hanketoimija voi parhaansa mukaan esittää syyt sille, miksi YVA-menettelyä ei tule asiassa soveltaa, ja toisekseen se voi toimia YVAn esiasteena, josta saadun palautteen perusteella toimija saa jo käsityksen siitä, mitä yhteysviranomainen toivoo näkevänsä varsinaisen YVA-prosessin yhteydessä. DGE:ssä autamme asiakkaitamme hahmottamaan YVA-prosessiin sisältyviä vaatimuksia ja olosuhteita. Riskien kokonaisvaltainen arviointi ja ymmärtäminen on kaiken toimintamme keskiössä, ja tarjoamme asiakkaillemme sekä lyhytkestoista konsultointia että esimerkiksi kokonaisia tarveharkintaraportteja, joihin sisältyvät myös mahdollisiin Natura-selvityksiin liittyvät tarpeet."
