More renewable energy! Seven-turbine wind farm was commissioned this autumn in Oulainen, Finland. Ensto Maviko designed and constructed a full turnkey #primary #substation for the farm, handling everything from the earthworks to final commissioning to meet the demanding requirements of wind farm operations. 🎉⚡️Happy 20th anniversary, Sähkönaiset – Electrical Women’s Network in Finland!⚡️🎉 20 years ago, a group of wise women recognized the need for a network that would promote, support and empower women in the industry to grow, learn and influence together and encourage women to the electrical industry. This is how the Electrical Women’s Network, Sähkönaiset, was born in Finland. From Ensto, two power ladies, Marjo Miettinen and Pia Hänninen, were part of the group and have been part of it since the network was founded. Today, Sähkönaiset is a blooming network with over 50 members representing the whole value chain from the industry’s associations, contractors, designers, suppliers, universities to wholesalers. We at Ensto are proud to have our own representatives in the network.⚡ The Electrical Women's Network celebrated its 20 years last week with an anniversary dinner, which reflected on the achievements and highlights of the past two decades. Greeting from the west coast of Finland! 🌟 Ensto’s owners had a pleasure to visit Arcteq Relays Ltd and Ensto Maviko, which are both Ensto’s recent acquisitions located in Vaasa. During their visit, they we able to see where Ensto Maviko’s smart secondary substations are made and dive into Arcteq’s groundbreaking solutions in arc flash protection and protection relays. In addition, the owners had a chance to visit Elenia’s primary substation in Ähtäri, which Ensto Maviko had implemented from start to finish.   The visit was an enriching experience for all the owners representing Ensto’s 2nd and 3rd generations, and they were very active and curious to learn more with their many questions.   “I am extremely proud of Ensto people in Vaasa. During the visit, the following topics came up several times: customers, employees, quality, and being fast in customer service. Greetings from the Finnish archipelago!💦☀ Last Friday our team in Finland had a chance to enjoy Ensto's traditional excursion rowing in the sunny and warm summer weather by the sea in Porvoo. We set off on the church boat from the Porvoo river and rowed from around the island of Kråkö. All in all, the trip was about 23 km long and lasted around 2,5 hours. At Ensto in Finland, we have been rowing together since 2009. This year, the excursion rowing was organized for the 13th time, and during these years we have had altogether 87 rowers, collecting a total of 227 rowing performances. In addition, we have participated 14 times in the Sulkava Rowing Race, Finland’s biggest rowing event.
