UFI is: 👉 a 16-character code that starts with the letters UFI 👉 found on the labels of some products containing chemicals. These products may harm your health if not used correctly. 👉 If an accident happens, the UFI code on the product helps poison centre or, in some cases your doctor, give you accurate medical advice faster. #ChemicalSafetyEU - In its October meeting, our Member State Committee agreed to identify triphenyl phosphate as a substance of very high concern, #SVHC, because of its endocrine disrupting properties in the environment. ECHA will add the substance to the Candidate List in November 2024. The committee also approved the non-vertebrate HYBIT test, to be used as the standard information requirement under #EU_REACH, where applicable. Using the test as default is another step towards reducing testing on vertebrate animals. #AlternativesToAnimalTesting 🔗https://fcld.ly/mscoct24l
