Our rock sales for 2024 are starting to pick up as the weather improves. The days are getting warmer and the snow is almost completely gone. We were late to the party last year, as the season was almost over by the time we signed the contract with Morenia. This year we are looking forward to a good season and will continue to grow this sideline business as we resume gold production in this record price environment. Our GM’s wife Lolita with Jim and Ville at the Komatsu Open Day on Saturday. Ville and the Suomen Rakennuskone Komatsu team gave the Jackson family a VIP tour of their impressive operation in Oulu after visiting our Laiva Gold mine on Thursday. They held an open day on Friday and Saturday, that was well attended by a wide range of both industry people and the public. The maintenance manager was also on hand to take us through the spotlessly clean workshop and walk through the rebuild process of some components that they service on site. We are looking forward to building a strong relationship with Komatsu as we return to production this summer and take advantage of this record gold price. Like Komatsu and its Japanese tradition, Laiva Gold plans long term and expects our sizeable gold resource will allow Laiva to produce for the next 20+ years and bring valuable employment back to the district of Raahe. #gold #investing #goldinvesting #finland #commodities

We were pleased to host a visit to Laiva by Ville and Jari from SUOMEN RAKENNUSKONE Oy, the Komatsu dealer in Finland who will provide our fleet for the restart.  While on-site, they took the opportunity to inspect the pits to help them better understand the layout of the mine. The equipment they will supply includes HD605-8EO 65-ton dump trucks, PC950LC-11EO 95-ton class excavators, WA600-8EO wheel loader and D155AX-8EO track dozer. We are really excited to be restarting production at Laiva this summer and SUOMEN RAKENNUSKONE Oy, are a very important future partner to ensure the long term success of this incredible gold mine. #gold #investing #goldinvestment #finland
