🆕Mirka is investing 25 million euros to establish a new production line in Jakobstad, Finland. This is an investment in our independently developed, energy-efficient method for abrasives production. We’re so happy to introduce the winner of the Mirka Innovation Challenge – AI Electronix by Jacob Pesämaa and Sagar Yadav! Their innovation is an AI app for electronic trouble shooting – making everyone an electronics expert, enhancing repairability and remanufacturing. Not only did they deliver a flawless pitch, but they confidently answered all questions from the jury and the audience, showcasing their knowledge. Second place was awarded to Lina Strang, whose innovative idea of anti-clog tools tackled a big industry problem: the short lifetime of sandpaper.
