New publication from our Real World Evidence team 💡 "Medication counselling on unlicensed medicines should be improved – results from a Finnish survey for patients and pharmacy staff"   The study was conducted in collaboration with the University of Helsinki and recently published in the Journal of Integrated Pharmacy Research and Practice https://lnkd.in/gfNapaS7   The results of this research project describe experiences of patients and pharmacy staff about medication counselling of unlicensed medicines, and emphasise the need to enhance counselling to ensure safe and effective use of medicines with a special or fixed-term special permit.   Special thanks to the members of Oriola's Research Pharmacy Network and its more than 160 community pharmacies across Finland for their invaluable contribution to this study, and to all respondents for participating to the study and the data collection. Change in Oriola Management Team Hannes Hasselrot, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Oriola and a member of Oriola’s Management Team, has resigned to take a position at another company. He will leave Oriola in the first quarter 2025 at the latest. "On behalf of the Management Team and all our colleagues, I want to thank Hannes for his valuable contribution to the company during his time at Oriola. He has played a significant role in developing our business towards the leading specialist in wholesale of pharmaceuticals and health products. I wish Hannes all the best in the next phase in his career,” comments Katarina Gabrielson, CEO, Oriola. "It has been a privilege to drive and participate in the change of Oriola’s strategic direction.
