Polar Bear Pitching gathers the coolest startups and visionary talents together with investors, large audiences, and media. www.polarbearpitching.com Polar Bear Pitching is an event that brings the brightest startups and startuppers as well as sharpest audiences together. The entrepreneurs that are welcomed to pitch may present any business sector and can be either on pre-seed, seed, startup or growth stage. Naturally, we also wish to see many companies with an aspiration to grow and reach international business with a scalable business model. In the audience there's plenty of room for students, company representatives and for anyone interested in entrepreneurship. By attending the Polar Bear Pitching you'll get to see the superb array of different teams with compelling business ideas pitching for the notable prizes. Eleven years ago today, on 10.10., I remember the moment vividly—like a bolt of lightning ⚡, the idea for Polar Bear Pitching struck! I couldn’t wait to share it and immediately called my colleague, Matti Rusila, pitching the out-of-the-box idea for the very first time to anyone. Thankfully, Matti’s response was, "Let’s do it," 💪 and the rest is history! In just 4 months, with the help of the entire community, the very first Polar Bear Pitching saw daylight. 🐻❄️ Ideas are like sparks. ✨ They can dim as easily as they light up—unless you have people around you who are ready to fan the flame. 🔥 I’m so glad you, Matti, decided to jump on board! It was great bumping into you today and reflecting on the times when we worked together as a dynamic duo, setting the snowball in motion and gaining even more momentum as it rolled, thanks to the incredible support of the Oulu startup community.
