Last week, our Investor Zechen Ma attended the WISE conference in Geneva, hosted by the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA). The event focused on building an impact ecosystem for startups, and advancing the UN's SDGs. At the conference, Zechen spoke about the role of young founders in driving change. He also highlighted the importance of tangible support and networks that enable sustainable growth. It was inspiring to see so many impact-driven Gen Z founders from around the world sharing their perspectives. A big thank you to the organizers for the program, and for bringing together such a diverse and committed group of people!

From founding Wave Ventures to leading a VC-backed startup, Paebbl! In 2016, Andreas Saari came across a Facebook post about a student-run VC in Utah, USA. Just a few months later, he co-founded Wave Ventures, Europe's largest student-run VC. Today, Andreas is at the helm of Paebbl, a climate tech startup that has just raised $25 million in Series A funding led by Capnamic, with support from Amazon's Climate Pledge Fund, Holcim and Goldbeck's family office Aurum Impact!
