Earlier this week as part the 6th Summit of our Data Arm The Digital Health Society I want to open some doors into our network and showcase some of the champions that are within some of the 80+ Ecosystems in our network of ECHAlliance - The Global Health Connector that we feature every month to our members and I think offer something unique. ESiORin toteuttama kustannusvaikuttavuusanalyysi keskeisessä roolissa Hyvinvointikertomus tutuksi ja terveellinen ravitsemus- hankkeessa. Hankkeen toteutti Vantaan kaupunki - Vanda stad - City of Vantaa yhteistyössä Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue / Vanda och Kervo välfärdsområde kanssa. Reilut kaksi vuotta kestäneen hankkeen tavoitteena oli kehittää ja luoda uusia toimintamalleja kaupunkilaisten elämäntapojen parantamiseksi. Keskeisimmät osa-alueet olivat: kuntalaisten ravitsemusterveyden edistäminen, aikuisten ylipainon hoitopolun kirkastaminen ja kehittäminen sekä hyvinvointitiedolla johtamisen edistäminen. On September 30, 2024, over 400 professionals attended a symposium organized by FINBB – Finnish Biobanks and Fingenious®. High-quality health information is needed to support decision-making in healthcare. Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in Finland, resulting in an estimated annual cost of nearly three billion euros to society when indirect costs are also taken into account. It has been truly inspiring to be involved in the collaboration between Novartis, Siun Sote, and ESiOR Oy, which resulted in a scientific publication in European Heart Journal Open on the current state of secondary prevention of coronary artery disease, treatment implementation, and related social and healthcare costs in the North Karelia region. The results and the modeling based on them could be utilized in the future for more effective and personalized patient care planning and better allocation of limited healthcare resources.
